The right truck and van device depends on how the asset is powered, where it operates, what data the platform needs and which markets the unit must comply with.
Power source
For the current hardware shortlist, confirm a suitable hardwired supply, ignition input where required and installer access. OBD plug-in is a separate device category; the current LEXUNYU catalogue does not list an OBD plug-in model.
Network and coverage
Check the country, operator bands, roaming plan and retirement timetable for the intended routes; do not treat 3G fallback as a baseline.
Interface and data
CAN bus / J1939 or OBD access may expose fields only when the exact vehicle provides them and the selected device and platform path validates them. Match the interface to the reports the operations team expects.
Enclosure and installation
Cabin or concealed placement keeps the unit out of sight. Confirm the antenna and GPS line-of-sight are not blocked by metal.

For truck and van, lead with ordinary road-fleet terminals such as the A7C or C003F. Branch to the A300 only when the exact machine or vehicle interface is validated, and to an outdoor unit only when the installation is exposed.
