Separate a new supply batch from a fleet migration
A new batch can be assessed without assuming all installed devices will be replaced.
What to check
Keep existing devices where appropriate and identify mandatory platform fields for the new batch. A supported-device directory does not establish every field, event, firmware or accessory.
Choosing a route
If replacement is planned, check power and harnesses, identity mapping, historical data, rollback and support ownership. Compare A300 and C003F by the required configuration; neither is an established drop-in replacement for FMC920.
